I have decided to resurrect the yearslong Geopolitics & Empire (GAE) tradition of compiling the news! This was a free and popular feature of the email list and many people would write to me expressing that they got so much value out of it.
Instead of the reader having to spend hours upon hours of time searching through mainstream and alternative news, over the week I would aggregate into a single short list what I thought to be the most interesting and important news. The value is that by merely skimming my headlines for a minute or two you immediately get a picture of what transpired over the past week, without even really needing to read the articles.
Of course, if you wish to go further, you can always click on the links and spend time reading the articles in their entirety. I have my own secret sauce and method for aggregating and collating the best news (don’t ask). And I tend to use quality source material (e.g. you won’t find links to garbage sites like People’s Voice).
People were sad when I stopped publishing my weekly news headlines. I stopped because I no longer had the time to do it (had to focus on my full-time day job and family) and because it takes me a good amount of time to produce it and putting it out for free makes no financial sense. Thus, I am resurrecting the weekly news list but only for Paid Subscribers on Substack.
